CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS

The Asian Academy of Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders
CHAPTER I : General Provisions
SECTION 1. NAME, REGISTERED OFFICE, AND FINANCIAL YEAR
- The name of the Academy shall be ASIAN ACADEMY OF OROFACIAL PAIN AND TEMPOROMANDIBULAR DISORDERS (AAOT).
- The registered office of the Academy shall be in the country of the President.
- The financial year of the Academy shall be the calendar year.
SECTION 2. PURPOSE, OBJECTIVES, AND NON-PROFIT CHARACTER
- The purpose of the Academy shall be to encourage and support the development of the art of practicing medicine in the field of orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders, and related conditions and to establish, popularize and advance the scientific principles on which the clinical practices should be based.
- The Academy shall pursue these objectives exclusively and directly by its own work and activity shall be of a non-profit character, especially by making its property available to its members.
- The property of the Academy shall be irrevocably dedicated to charitable and educational purpose. No part of the net income or assets of the Academy shall ever ensure for the benefit of any private person.
